A liquid coating that bonds to the paint rather than sitting on top of it like wax. Once cured, the car comes clean faster and stays clean longer.

What it is

A chemical bond, not a layer of wax.

Ceramic coating cures into the clear coat rather than sitting loosely on top of it, the way wax does. That bond is what gives it real hydrophobic behaviour — water pulls into tight beads and rolls off, taking a lot of the dirt with it rather than dragging it across the paint.

Practically, that means washing gets easier and faster, and things like bird mess, tree sap and road grime are far less likely to etch into the paint if you get to them within a reasonable time. It doesn't stop stone chips — that's what PPF is for — but for everyday chemical and UV protection, it's the difference between paint that dulls over years and paint that doesn't.

What happens

Prep matters as much as the product.

1. Decontamination and panel prep. Every coating job goes through a full chemical decontamination wash and clay before anything touches the paint — the coating bonds to whatever surface it's applied to, so any contamination left behind gets sealed in permanently.

2. Isolation and wipe-down. A solvent wipe removes any last residue and oils from the surface immediately before application, giving the coating a clean surface to bond to.

3. Application. The coating is applied panel by panel and leveled by hand, then given time to flash and bond before the next layer or the final cure begins.

4. Cure time. The coating needs time out of the rain to cure fully — we'll tell you exactly how long for your specific product before you drive off.
